Choose the correct playback path on computers and mobile devices

Before choosing a cable or wireless method, decide where playback should actually run. On Windows or Mac, use the official app or a genuinely supported browser. On iPhone, iPad and Android, confirm the operating-system version, Canadian store availability, free storage and permissions. For a television, prefer its official native app first. Otherwise, use AirPlay or Google Cast only when both the app and receiver support it. HDMI remains the most predictable wired option when the port, cable and adapter are correct.
